Went to see Dave my friend to have some dinner and drinks with him.

Good use of the money.

This is the first time I have heard about the “baby-drop” box.  Apparently, I am also told that they have these in Germany as well.  Interesting idea, but I think it’s just makes it all the easier to escape and get out.  Which is apparently what this Japanese father did by dropping off his three year old son.  Amazing, perhaps he thought that the son wouldn’t remember and that no one would care even though it was called a “baby drop off”.

Well, it’s getting close to the end of the year, and that means that Ayu will be having another countdown live concert. This year it’s at Yoyogi Stadium. If anyone has the chance to be here in Tokyo for the New Year it might be a concert that you want to go to? At least I want to go. I went to the yearly show that she does back in June and it was pretty good. Other than the fact that I had to sit there and wait for the longest time for the show to actually start. And when it did finally start, Ayu was only as big as my small pinky. Oh well, at least I got to go see it. Ok, so I am looking for a place that has a live feed of some place in Tokyo that I can add onto my blog. And during my searching around I found this place. You can watch them make sushi in real time. I have no idea how this will stream overseas, but it looks pretty good. And makes me hungry at the same time. There are four cameras all going in realtime from different angles. All-in-all it seems pretty cool. I don’t know if I would like four cameras pointed at me, nor would anyone want to watch me stare at a computer either.

I went to Edo river to see their fireworks yesterday.  It was pretty good.  They had some interesting fireworks that I had not seen before.   I just hated the long walk that it took to get there though.  Had to wander through the streets from Koiwa station to get there.  But once I got there, there were a lot of people but it wasn’t overly crowded like I thought it was going to be.  I had been to some fireworks festivals before in Osaka, and they were packed with people.  Like being in a train in the morning going to work, but outside in the heat and humidity standing for an hour to see some stuff burn up in the sky.  Then I made my way home and slept.  Watching fireworks is hard stuff.  Anyways, here are some grainy pics from my mobile phone.

一昨日江戸川花火見に行った。花火は良かったと思ってた(。・_・。)ノ　子供の時花火いっぱい見たけど今回はたまに新しい花火タイプがあった。小岩駅から江戸川まで行ったけど結構遠かったかな・・・小岩道でちょっとバラバラ歩いていってついに江戸川出てた。もっと前大阪で花火見に行ったけどすごく込んでた！みんな立てながら花火見た。江戸川で人多かったけど広場で座れて良かった(/・ω・)/　花火大変ね～　とにかく携帯の写真付けてます。

I was going home from Akihabara one night after having a few beers. And while I was waiting for the train to depart I was able (brave enough?) to snap off some photos on my mobile camera of your ‘typical’ crazy looking Japanese girl. Really can’t see them that well as I was still a bit shy, but I suppose that you can kind of get the idea.
